At the recommendation of dexter_fox and numerous critics around the country, myself, Kitty, and Scrithwuff went to see the movie in the subject line. The consensus about this movie was that you had to at least see it on the big screen and preferably in 3D and/or IMAX. Since our IMAX theater is still being built, we had to settle for 3D only. It was truly a great sci-fi experience. Sir Isaac Newton would have thoroughly enjoyed the movie as all of his laws of motion were put to the test. I know it has become cliche in action movies to have landmarks blown up or destroyed (How many times has the White House been destroyed over the past few years?!?). This movie raises the bar with the destruction of the ISS which is both eye-popping and jaw-dropping. So definitely see this movie on the biggest screen you can. Normally our mantra is "put that in the Netflix queue," but even a 55" screen cannot do justice to this film.
