We have been getting some good rain over the past 24 hours. The temperature is expected to plummet tonight, and we might get a dusting of snow before morning. I was watching the storm rolling over the city all morning. At one point I noticed a fairly heavy cell just to the north of the city. I wondered what it was looking like up there, so I opened up the state's DOT website to check out the traffic cams. Right now the cameras capture still pics every few seconds as opposed to streaming video. I was shocked to see what looked like a pickup in mid skid on the rain-slick interstate. I kept waiting for the pic to refresh to see what the outcome would be. Finally it refreshed and the pickup was now across the freeway and t-boned by a truck. Here is the series of photos I grabbed with screen capture.
They were still cleaning up the wreck 90 minutes later.
