I'm in a furry quandary. I just heard about a movie coming out in The States called "The Lobster." I guess it has already opened overseas judging from the, "It's shite!" comments I have seen. The trailer is here. It's by a Greek director who put out the movie "Dogtooth" a few years ago which I thought was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Yes, I got the deeper underlying message, but it still was a hard movie to watch. The reviews of the new movie seem to be along the same lines. Where the furry quandary comes in is that the plot revolves around finding your soulmate at a hotel within 45 days. If you don't find your mate, you're transformed into an animal. So is that plot point worth the price of admission (so to speak)? It might be worth putting in the Netflix queue. Both Kitty and I had the same train of thought, however, when I told her about the movie. We both said, "Heck with the 45 days! Let's get right to the transformation part!" I then imagined the hotel staff doing a facepalm while mumbling, "Fucking furries!"
