The Trip To Chama

On Saturday I took Kitty on a drive up to Chama. The original goal was to do a bit of fursuiting as Nevada since the town had been buried in snow all Winter. When we got there, however, it just wasn't that impressive. Sure, there were piles 10' high in places and some roofs had a few feet of snow still on them, but some melting had already occurred and lots of the snow was dirty from the cinders that were put on the roads. We then drove a little further north into Colorado to the top of Cumbres Pass. Once again, the views were very lovely, but fursuiting opportunities just didn't present themselves. *shrugs* Oh well. I tried. I did get a couple of nice pics. Here's one.

To mix things up a bit, I took a different route home. I showed Kitty a back highway I had discovered that had some really stunning views. All the way I was on the lookout for "Land For Sale" signs. They were very few and far between.
