Phone Phail

Last night we decided to finally go to the Adults Night at the local science museum for kids. Basically you get to play with all of the cool experiments geared towards kids with the bonus of no little rugrats running around. The only other time I had been there was for a couple of fursuiting gigs for Animal Humane many years ago. We put out an invitation to the other NM Furs in hopes of getting a couple more folks. Well, 9 more showed up! The Land of Entrapment Furs must be hard up for entertainment! *LOL* We had a great time running around and acting like kids. I was busy showing the docent the flawed logic of her hydrology experiment. We eventually ended up outside on the large playground setup that they had. You want furs to have fun? Get them out on a jungle gym! The only thing better would have been if we were in suit like I was in Zunipup years ago.

We decided to go to the nearby Flying Star for dessert. I realized I didn't have my phone, but then I couldn't remember if I had even brought it. After tasty pie and coffee we headed home. At home I realized that my phone was nowhere to be found. I walked around the house calling my number with the house phone to no avail. We called the furs that were still at the restaurant to see if it was there. Nope. It must have fallen out at the museum. Damn. So this morning we got there right after opening and headed over to the playground. If I had dropped it, it would have been there. Kitty called my number, and I heard that wonderful ringtone. Yes! It was at the base of a roller slide which was extremely fast and fun. So all is right with the world.
