Garden Update

It has been just over a month since I planted the garden. I thought I would post an update. Overall everything is growing beautifully! The tomatoes and zucchini are absolutely loving the record high temperatures. The cucumbers are struggling a bit, but they are growing. I was a bit dismayed to find 2 of my ancho/poblano chile plants eaten. I am guessing it was a bird because the stem was cut so cleanly that it had to be something like a beak that cut it. It was not a rough chew like a rodent. *shrugs* I'll go to the nursery tomorrow and pick up a few more.

So here are some before and after pics. I think it was around May 15 when I took the "before" pics, so the "after" represents a month of growth. I apologize that the "after" pic looks a bit "shabby." After I saw the pic I ran out and gave the garden a good weeding. It looks MUCH better now.
