Otto: Day 2

Today was day 2 of the Water Festival. It was a little better today. The kids were just as huggy as the day before but there were fewer obnoxious tail/whisker pullers. Overall it was a lot of fun. It should be pretty obvious, but when the kids are in a good mood and want to be a part of the fun, the gig can be very sweet! About the only hiccup was when there was a bomb scare across the street at Civic Plaza where the kids had eaten lunch an hour before. That meant we had to reroute the kids through the Convention Center to the other side. I did my best to keep everyone entertained while the chaos was sorted out. It turned out that the "bomb" was an old briefcase that someone had left in the underground parking area below the Plaza.

Tonight I am off to visit silveronewunny who got a gig performing for a festival for kids with Downs Syndrome. So more suiting for me! Yay! We've also been invited to perform for the Cancer Society's pet parade on the 30th. They want us to be Grand Marshals. *lol* Could it be that we're finally getting some recognition?!?
