Three Days of the Otter

I just finished my 3rd gig in 3 days playing Otto Otter for work. The first 2 days were for a Children's Water Festival. Today was for a self-gratification celebration of the 10th anniversary of the program established to protect the endangered silvery minnow. All 3 gigs went very well.

Otto got put on a leash at the water festival. I used to interact with the kids as they changed classrooms, but someone said that my presence was too disruptive. I was relegated to 3 appearances only; when the buses arrived, during lunch period, and when the buses left. It actually worked out pretty well. The kids still fell in love with me and I was rewarded with comments like "You rock, Otto!" and "You're awesome!" A successful performance!

Today's performance was at the Rio Grande Nature Center which was where I had one of my very first fursuit performances 8 years ago. The crowd was pretty thin so I only suited for about 90 minutes. I still had some good interactions with kids and adults. And now...some pics!
