I am a Fursuit Whore

And how!

I once again crossed over that line from casual fursuiter to fursuiter for hire. On the one paw it's exciting to be paid to do something you love doing, but on the other paw it then puts a whole different spin on how and why you're doing it. You have to not only please yourself but you also have to make sure that you're giving your customer what they're paying for. It was also a little intimidating to have to name my own price and then second guess as to whether that was too much or too little. *shrugs* By day's end, however, there is that same satisfaction of doing a performance with the bonus of having coin in your pocket.

The quick and dirty story behind the gig was that we were approached at last week's Doggie Dash and Dawdle and asked by a new pet store if we also perform for businesses as well as charities. Of course I jumped at the chance. We acted as glorified sign spinners in front of the store as they had their grand opening. From what we heard and the number of cars honking at us, we brought in quite a lot of business. Go furries!
