I was walking around the "orchard" with Kitty last night. She found another plum which brings our total to 5. The peach and apple trees look like they will still produce a few. It was the nectarine tree that gave us a surprise. Earlier in the year after the frost, I noticed small nectarines that were hard and shriveled. It looked like they would just die and fall off. To our surprise they survived! The tree had a handful of nectarines that were about the size of a cherry. But they were ripe and sweet! So I guess don't give up! I'm also holding out that the fig will do good things this year.
