Friday in the Field

Our division took a little field trip out to one of the pueblos today to see some work being done to make their irrigation system function better as well as put more land into agricultural production. It was a gorgeous day, and certainly a good one to be outside. Just before heading back, it was pointed out that there was a bald eagle sitting in a tree near the Rio Grande. What a beautiful bird! I immediately thought of lanakila, my LJ iggle friend. *smiles*

In other news I will be hitting the road bright and early tomorrow. Here's to a nice safe drive with lots of nice scenery, dry roads, and lots of trains!
