Myself, Kitty,
The ruins were incredible! I can see how they could be considered on-par with places like Machu Pichu in Peru or Tikal in Guatemala. It really illustrated how advanced pre-Columbian civilization was in this hemisphere before it was "discovered" in 1492. Due to time constrains we barely scratched the surface of the many sites in the Park, but we plan on heading back, probably in the Fall, to actually camp out and spend a few days there.
And now some pics!
Bonita House. The largest of the ruins in the park

Room after room after room in Bonita House
"Hey, Aldo! Wanna see the inside of a kiva up close?"
"Phew! Being a furry tourist can really wear you out!"
Aldo and Sabot chillin' in Bonita House, admiring the window built into a corner.
