Perhaps you have seen these images before. I was playing around on Google Maps and returned to one of my favorite places; Davis-Monthan Air Force Base just to the east of Tucson. This is the boneyard where old war planes go to die in the desert sun. So just count up the planes and multiply each by a few million dollars to see how our tax dollars have been spent over the past several decades. I'm not anti-military, but when we're now debating just how desperately we need the F-22 to keep America free and proud, maybe we should think about how much we should be feeding the military industrial complex.
BTW, these are taken on different sides of a highway so there is no overlap.
