Was That a Weekend?

What was that? Oh. My weekend.
How can doing so little cause a weekend to zip by so quickly. Seriously! I asked Kitty on Sunday what the hell did we do on Saturday because I blinked and the day was gone. I didn't even have alcohol to cause the blackout. One minute I'm watching "Disturbia" (a LAME retelling of Hitchcock's "Rear Window" for the tween crowd) and the next minute I'm heading off to bed for the evening. Even Sunday went by quickly, but at least I remembered having a nice breakfast at Garcia's and seeing the latest Harry Potter flick(not bad). I made a batch of fresh salsa from donated tomatoes and the serrano chiles from the garden. In the evening I picked up anjel_kitty at the Convention Center and brought her to Fur Central which will be her base of operations as she attends a week-long professional convention. Fortunately for her my office is a whopping 2 blocks from the Convention Center, so she has a ride every morning. We introduced her to Fur Central Hospitality by Kitty cooking up a tasty vegetable lasagna from the bounty of the garden. I popped open a fine bottle of wine, and we all sat out on the patio enjoying the warm New Mexico evening. There will be a furmeet on Thursday if you want to come on over and say "Hi" to her before she departs back east on Fri.
