Yes Yes, Georgette!

Ah! Rain in the desert! I luvs it! We're getting a nice moisture plume coming off of Tropical Depression Georgette which is heading north out of the Gulf of California. It looked like the depression might hit Phoenix/Tucson this morning, but the Weather Service now has it dying out before it hits AZ. It has been pouring here in ABQ for over an hour now. Good thing I shut off the sprinklers this morning! Hopefully this will just about put an end to the 2010 irrigation season. We still have to make it through October, but hopefully the demand just won't be there. All indicators are pointing to a La Nina Winter. That means dry dry dry. *sadface*

Yay! Equinox tonight! Autumn is my favorite time of year!
