We got to the plaza just before noon, and the place was packed! We managed to find a parking space about a block from the square, and changed in the lot. Yeah, we may have destroyed the illusion a little bit, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. We hit the plaza, and just wandered around the park. There was a flamenco troupe performing on the gazebo, so we had music to dance to. The people loved us! We interacted with the crowd for almost 2 hours. Temps were ok, but the Sun was brutal. There was also not much of a breeze, which sucked. We just did our thing and had a great time. The best part was that the person from the City who is in charge of special events tracked us down and invited us to another gig at the end of the month! We have met him before when I guerrilla fursuited on Christmas Eve, so we already had a little bit of an "in" with him. It's nice being liked!
There was also a bit of a funny story when we first started. One of our handlers told Kitty that a cop was asking questions. Uh oh! Here we go again! The cop wanted to know where Kitty bought her really cute calico cat plushie backpack. *LOL* We tried to think of a diplomatic way of saying "a furry convention."
OK. I'll shut up and post some pics.
Here is the group (minus Kitty who had de-suited to handle and Tonka Wolf who ran off somewhere). The nice old man was celebrating his 86th birthday and really wanted a pic with the furry critters.

Cats and Bears! Living together! Mass hysteria!
Good wolf! Don't leave any "presents" on the grass!

We wanna join this cruise! (minus the religion, please)
