Oh, Internet! How I Love You!

Last night I was laying in bed and a song popped into my head. It was the song that names a whole bunch of women and different characteristics about each one. All I remember about the title was that it was "(some number)(something) about (some number) women." I couldn't even remember enough of an actual lyric to use that in my search. So all I had was "about" and "women." You can see that my search would be futile. I then went to e-Music where I download most of my tunes. I typed in "about women" and BINGO! "88 Lines About 44 Women" by The Nails.

And then the Dark Side of the Internet raised it's head. I received the message "If you like this song/group, perhaps you'd also like these songs/groups." In one of the YouTube links there was a still picture of some sort of furry character.

"Oh! What's this?" I said as I clicked on the link. It was a fan-created video for the song "Banging in the Nails" by the group "The Tiger Lillies." *jaw drop* It had cute Japanese mascots doing incredible stunts, but the song was about the joy of pounding in the nails during Jesus' crucifixion. Of course that then led to other links to songs such as "Hamsters" with the lyric, "I love a little hamster up my rectum." That led to a song called "Vagina" which is about having sex with a giraffe. It was like a bad car wreck that I couldn't take my eyes off of. Finally I poured in a gallon of Brain Bleach and went off to bed. Ah yes! We are living in magical times!
