A few weeks ago we had a killing frost which pretty much wiped out everything in the garden. A couple of jalapeno plants, however, refused to die. We then had a nice stretch of above-normal temps. The peppers loved the weather and decided to put out a few more veggies. The forecast yesterday was for temps to fall into the 20's this morning. I went out and picked 19 more peppers before the cold weather hit. If I get home tonight and the plants are still alive, I will have to save some seeds to propagate more of the "undead chilis."
