At the urging of several friends on my FL I have taken a sip of the "MLP:FIM" Kool Aid. The show is now available on demand on Netflix, so I watched a few episodes last night while Kitty was out. So far the verdict is, "I don't get it." It is what it is. It's a show for little girls. It's cute. It's sweet. If I ever get the desire to "cub out" I might put on a sleeper, get a bottle of warm milk, and watch the show. I'm not seeing any deeper meaning, however, like an "Animaniacs" or "Tiny Toons." I know you hardcore Bronies out there will say that I should watch some more, that it gets better. Meh. We'll see. Like I posted about ahwile back, I like the shows that you stumble across and get instantly pulled in. Sometimes you hear buzz about a show and you give it a try. If you get sucked in and can't wait for the next episode, great! If you forget about it after a few weeks, oh well. Maybe some of the Kool Aid did have an effect on me. I DID, at least, make an icon from the show.
