The rest of the garden has become an overgrown mess. I have to dig deep into the mass of tomato plants to find the pepper plants underneath. I've harvested green chiles, yellows, jalapenos, and bells. The tomato plants are big and bushy, but have only just now started to produce. The cherry tomato, however, has been most productive.
Much of the garden is also overgrown with morning glory. Al and Dex were most proud of their morning glory plant in their yard. While it was nice, mine is something like the Audrey 2 of morning glories. I'll have to take a pic of it in all of its glory.
Finally, this morning I noticed a worm near the patio. That was pretty unusual. I have not seen very many worms here. The poor thing had probably been mauled to death by one of the cats. Upon closer inspection, however, I noticed that it was not a worm but a very tiny snake. I'm betting on a plains black-headed snake, but I can't be sure. If it's still there tonight, I'll get a pic.
