More Suiting

We were asked by the City to do more fursuiting for them. This time it was for the annual Nob Hill Shop and Stroll which was followed by the Twinkle Light Parade. We had done the parade a couple of times in the past, but it's quite a chore to suit since it's hard to keep up as well as stop for high fours and photos. Instead we were asked to "warm up the crowd" i.e. walk along some of the parade route before the parade to entertain the folks who had set up early. Things started off slowly, but quickly escalated into a fury of posing for pics and passing out hugs. I was pleased to see so many people wearing animal hats. Furry is going mainstream! There were just so many cute kids. It was a true pleasure to perform. At one point we walked past a bar that had a live band. I peered into the window and the drummer urged me to come on in. Good move! The place was packed and a cheer went up as I walked inside. I was almost blinded by all of the flashes. I rocked out! We got back to the Furmobile just as the parade started. Mission accomplished!

This had to be one of the crowning moments of the day; a little boy dressed as Ralphie in his pink bunny suit. A kid after my own heart! That smile says it all!

Don't try to photobomb the bear. He will photobomb you right back.

The rest of the gang that showed up.
