What's Up With The Beatles?

I really dig documentaries about modern music history. Today I watched "Muscle Shoals" which told the history of a couple of small recording studios in southern Alabama which brought us some of the biggest R&B hits of the 60's and 70's. One group that recorded there was the Rolling Stones. There were interviews with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. One of my favorite series on Netflix is called "Classic Albums" where the do a track-by-track analysis of some of rock's most famous albums from The Who's "Who's Next" to the Grateful Dead's "American Beauty." In each case they interview all of the band members. That got me thinking about The Beatles. You never see a comprehensive documentary about the group especially with interviews with Paul, George, or Ringo. I don't think I ever saw a documentary about how the other 3 felt about John's murder. The only real documentary I can recall had a deconstruction of "Sgt Peppers" and that was done by George Martin, not the Beatles themselves. Does anyone know of any good documentary out there? I wonder if there is not some legal bullshit out there that prohibits them from talking. Perhaps the breakup was so traumatic that the remaining members refuse to talk about it to this day. If so, that's pretty pathetic. Is Paul's ego so huge that he wants to forget about the past and just concentrate on his current career? Oh boy! How's that working out for ya? *shrugs* I just appreciate people talking about their glory days especially with years of reflection on what it all meant.
