Final Post of 2014

Goodbye, 2014. Hello, 2015!
Here's the year in review. I began the year aboard the Celebrity Century just off the coast of Panama. Our ship was the last passenger ship through the Panama Canal in 2013. The biggest news of the year had to be my marriage to carol_kitty, the love of my life for the past 9 years. We were married just over a month ago. I had several trips this year including 2 to LA and 2 to Chicago. One of the trips to LA was for Califur while the other was to attend the wedding of our bestest buddies, albear and dexter_fox. This trip also included a few days in Las Vegas for some good times with great friends. Both trips to Chicago were to see my mom. One trip was a happy occasion (Mother's Day) while the other was not so happy (her recovery from a fall). There was also a somber trip to Portland to say goodbye to one of my oldest and dearest friends. She was probably one of the more influential people in my life who helped me get to where I am today. Speaking of my job, this was probably one of the more depressing years in my career. I lost my window office and was rejected for my best shot at a promotion. My coping mechanism has been to just not care anymore. I don't see any changes coming in 2015 except I will be one year closer to retirement. I suppose the only other big news of the year was the addition of 2 more fuzzballs into our lives. Billie and Diva are flourishing from mewling kittens to full grown cats. We now trust them to be outside on their own just like Yoink and Fling.

So that's it for another year. Hopefully I'll get to see all of my LJ friends sometime in 2015. I'll be at FC in a few weeks and will hopefully make an appearance at RMFC later in the year. And since I'm a furfag I will wish everyone a Happy Nude Deer!
