I got up at the usual time this morning. It's not because I'm a glutton for punishment who hates to sleep in on the weekend, but rather I wanted to get up to catch the total lunar eclipse. I tried to take some pics, but fumbling around in the dark trying to get the right settings was too much of a challenge. The other challenge was trying to keep up with the setting moon as it kept trying to sink below the mesa edge before totality. I enjoyed the spectacle with a pair of binoculars with frolicking kittens enjoying the earlier-than-usual release into the wilds. Kitty also tried to enjoy the event with me, but she walked out the door, decided it was too cold, and ran back inside.
