Yesterday's adventures were limited to a trip to Haleakala National Park. The centerpiece of the park is an old volcano which is transitioning from a formative stage to an erosional stage. The summit sits at just over 10,000'. The drive up is pretty interesting because you're essentially starting at sea level. There were heavy clouds at just about 7000' but soon we popped out into bright sunshine and clear blue skies. We used Scritch's transition sunglasses as an indicator that the UV radiation was probably in the red zone. There were gorgeous views, and since the temperatures at that elevation were very comfortable, I took the opportunity to do a little more fursuiting. So add this park to my growing list.

For dinner I bought a pork loin roast at the supermarket. This is why condo vacationing can be a bargain. The roast with a side and veggies cost about $4/person and we had gorgeous views from the balcony.
