I just spent 2 days playing Otto Otter. It was at my usual venue where there is a nice changing room for the "big name" acts that perform there. The format was the same as last time with 1/2 of the city's 4th graders learning about water in the morning and the other half coming in after noon. Due to some scheduling SNAFU's I missed some kids, but today ended on a high note. I was able to interact with the kids as they showed up which then set the stage for my interaction with them as they boarded the buses. At least they knew who I was so they were happy to see me when they exited. This led to many hugs and tons of high fours. Once again I loved hearing "You're awesome!" because they know it's a guy in a suit, but I can still win them over. But now Old Bear needs to crash since performing takes a lot out of him. And stay off my lawn!
