Yesterday was one of those perfect spring days. I know it was just a couple of weeks ago that I was complaining about blah winter weather, but we're now experiencing an early taste of spring. Of course that doesn't bode well for the snowpack, but I also know that the weather can suddenly turn and we'll be right back into winter. For now, however, I'll enjoy what we have. After we came home from the movies, I went out to sit on the upper patio. When the sun set it got chilly very quickly since there was not a cloud in the sky and the humidity was extremely low. I went inside, put on Balu, and went back outside with a glass of whiskey. Ah. The perfect night. There's nothing quite like sitting in fursuit sipping booze and enjoying the company of Orion who was shining majestically right above me. I got a pair of binoculars and gazed at the nebula and lamented that I really needed to get out the telescope to see it in all of its glory. I also watched the Sandia tramway going up and down the mountain. That was kinda cool. I decided to call it a night when Jupiter popped up over the mountain to the east. I'm hoping there will be many more nights on the patio as lovely as last night (fursuit or not).
