A couple of years ago I decided that I was going to read all of those books that we were supposed to have read in high school (but never did). I really enjoyed sitting out on the patio on a warm Summer evening and reading until there was not enough light. I kinda dropped the ball last year and only got a few stories by H.G. Wells read. I decided that I was going to get a jump on things this year since the weather has already been nice enough to spend time outside. I was perusing the library website looking for titles that I might want to add to my list. I then thought about how much I have been enjoying the t.v. series "Bosch" that I thought I would look up the author whose books the series is based on. By the way, I binge-watched the entire 1st season in 3 sittings. It turns out that the author, Michael Connelly, is the Mickey Spillane of our time with dozens of crime books with Bosch as the protagonist. That's good news for Amazon since it will be a long time before the well runs dry. I might give it a try. Crime novels are not my thing, but it might just be the perfect bubblegum/popcorn read for the summer.
