"To Kill A Mockingbird"

I finished book #3 in my Summer Reading Program. Kitty couldn't believe I hadn't read Harper Lee's classic novel. Well, duh! That's the whole point of the reading program! Unlike "Starship Troopers" where the book and the movie were similar in name only, "TKaM" was faithfully recreated in the Oscar-nominated movie in 1963. The movie, in fact, ranks #34 on the AFI's Top 100 movies. Whenever Atticus Finch spoke in the book, I pictured Gregory Peck (who won Best Actor for the role). The story is classic Americana and rightfully one of the best novels of the 20th century.
