I forgot to make my yearly post about development up on the mesa. 2019 ended with 112 houses built or under construction up there. This compares with 95 at the end of 2018 and 77 at the end of 2017. The Tiburon section (Unit 18) now has 19 houses. It's a development inside the development. I walked through for the first time in over a year the other day. There are some really nice houses in there. I think the average going price for all houses on the mesa is around $400-600K. As I have mentioned here in the past, sometimes I just gotta wonder what people are thinking when they deign/build a brand new house. There is one house (#97) which I call "The Stargate House." They put up an arch in front of the door that is not connected to anything. They eventually put up bars to either side, but it just looks stupid. People are spending all of this money to buy these new houses, and some don't even have finished driveways. Oh well. Different strokes for different folks. There is even a house (#7) that was one of the first ones started several years ago. They must have run out of money because it sits up there half-completed to this day. So here is the map for 2019.
