Well, I am Gen X, so like, whatever! I've decided to do a little more slacking in order to maintain my sanity. I have been a good little boy and have been sitting at my "desk" for 8 hours a day. Of course that also means reading some online comics, but I have been trying to keep up routine or at least the appearance of one. But now I'm starting to backslide a bit. I have already written here about my health seeming to go to shit. Part of that has been lack of motivation to exercise. Part of that has been attributed to my feeling as if my soul has been sucked out of my body by 4 every afternoon. So I have started to mix things up. If I'm just sitting at my "desk" and there's nothing going on, I'll just get up and go for my walk right then and there. It does wonders for the psyche. If I am making something a little more complex for dinner, I'll just head off to the kitchen to do prep work within earshot of the computer. Any messages or emails can be quickly answered. It's that feeling of being a little freer that helps me get through the day. Oh, and with the weather being nice and warm, it's also a great morale booster to have the windows wide open.
